A group of eight parents recently graduated Associated and JP Family Engagement Network’s joint Positive Parenting Workshop, an eight-week series that focuses on important parenting topics such as: understanding temperament and development, positive discipline, establishing routines, knowing your child, and school success.
The graduation honored the parents and facilitator Pam Bailey from Families First. “There’s a lot of programs for before the child is born, but not a lot for when they’re really in the parenting stages,” said Bailey. “Providing family and parent workshops is important. Day-to-day life is stressful, and workshops provide a place for parents to come together and talk about life.”
YES! I want to help give Greater Boston's youngest children in need the opportunity to reach their full potential.
