By investing in school readiness, promoting healthy development, and strengthening families, Associated Early Care and Education gives students the opportunity to reach their full potential. Explore to learn more about how Associated nurtures a love of learning and creates a brighter future for the children, families, and neighborhoods we serve!
For over 130 years, Associated has provided the highest quality early care and education programs for the communities of Greater Boston. Today, we are serving over 1,500 children in need, from birth to age five, through our programs and services.
Senator Chang-Díaz came to visit Associated’s Ruggles/Gilday center in Roxbury this morning to tour the center and read a book with the children. Senator Chang-Díaz is an avid supporter of Massachusetts’s children and families, and is the first of several legislators to visit and read to our children this fall.
Senator Chang-Díaz read Fall Leaves by Mary Packard with the children, and then they sang a fall-themed song for the Senator. The children presented the Senator with their artwork. Thank you for joining us, Senator!
Cynthia Murchison, Community Compliance and Outreach Coordinator for CWC Builders, hops out of her chair when one of the construction workers from the site of our new Learning Center walks into the room to fill up his water cup. “Here, let me get that for you!”
Cynthia is not your average construction manager.
“One of the most fundamental differences with Cynthia is that she personally interacts with the people out here,” says Jonathan Lavash, project manager, “It’s almost like an extension of Cynthia’s family out there.”
YES! I want to help give Greater Boston's youngest children in need the opportunity to reach their full potential.
