Our President and CEO, Wayne Ysaguirre, was on WBZ Channel 38 Saturday morning promoting the wonderful things happening at Associated. Wayne spoke with Centro’s Yadires Nova-Salcedo about Associated’s history, the children we serve, his own background at Associated, and our new Learning Center to be built in the Bromley-Heath housing development. A highlight:
Wayne: “We provide early childhood classroom experience for [the children], we provide 85% of their nutritional needs, which are met at our programs. They receive breakfast, lunch, and snack, because you need a healthy body to use your mind. We provide services and support to families beyond the children.”
Yadires: “That is the good thing, I think, Wayne, the fact that it’s not just for the children, you help their families as well.”
