Learning Center at Bromley Heath

Founded in 1886, Associated Early Care and Education - Jamaica Plain is one of the five oldest early childhood education programs in the United States, and second oldest in Massachusetts (the first is Associated’s Sunnyside center). The first early care and education center to be located in a public housing development, Jamaica Plain joined the Associated family in 1956, and currently serves 85 multi-ethnic preschoolers. The program was accredited by NAEYC in 2003.

BY CAR:
• I-93 to Massachusetts Avenue Exit (south of Downtown Tunnel)
• Cross Massachusetts Avenue and street becomes Melnea Cass Boulevard
• Follow Melnea Cass, approximately 3 miles to Tremont Street
• Turn left on Tremont Street
• Follow Tremont past Roxbury Community College on left to Centre Street
• Turn right on Centre Street at lights (@ Jackson Square T station)
• Bromley - Heath Housing Project on right
• Turn right on Bickford Street (between project & Stop & Shop)
• Turn right on Parker Street into parking lot
• Center is straight ahead and slightly to the right

BY “T”:
• Orange Line to Jackson Square stop
• Walk up Centre Street (away from Tremont/Columbus St.)
• Turn right on Bickford Street (between project & Stop & Shop)
• Turn right on Parker Street into parking lot
• Center is straight ahead and slightly to the right
