CASTLE SQUARE

Established in 1969, Caste Square has grown to be one of the largest center-based child care programs in Boston. We serve 112 infants, toddlers and preschoolers (ages 2 months-6 years) who come from the surrounding neighborhoods of Chinatown, Dorchester, Roxbury, and the South End. In 1993, Castle Square was accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), the highest professional standard for quality that an early childhood education program can receive. The process of accreditation involves a self-study every three years in order to meet NAEYC standards. Castle Square was re-accredited in 1996 and 1999, an indication of the center's unwavering dedication and commitment to the center's many families and children.
